The eTHRIVE team had the honor to meet two notable Transcultural Nursing Scholars:
Marilyn McFarland, Ph.D., RN, FNP-BC, CTN-A, (left) and Hiba Wehbe-Alamah, Ph.D., RN, FNP-BC, CTN-A, FAAN (right) at the Transformative Culture Care Conference held in Louisville, KY November 2-5, 2022. 
 
The eTHRIVE team would like to express extreme gratitude for their exemplary leadership and scholarly
expertise in Transcultural Nursing. During the development of the eTHRIVE modules, Dr. McFarland and
Dr. Wehbe-Alamah gave permission for the eTHRIVE team to incorporate Dr. Leininger’s Sunrise enabler
in the Hyperlipidemia: Culture Care Module that has been disseminated to nursing students and nursing
professionals.

In addition, eTHRIVE shared the grant’s work through a podium presentation titled, eTHRIVE: Bringing
theory to life using innovative virtual simulation through community-academic collaboration to engage
and promote the capacity for culturally competent public health nursing care.
