The eTHRIVE-funded project concluded in June 2023; however, UT-CON continues partnering with RAM® to provide longitudinal experiential learning opportunities for students that will endure. Experiential training is a long-term project asset that promotes valuable, sustainable public health nursing education and practice in the Appalachia region.
On January 12, 2024, six students had the opportunity to serve in triage, assessing community members before receiving medical, dental, or vision services. The Knoxville RAM clinic served over 1,000 community members during the three-day clinic held at the Knox Co Fair Grounds.
